Whole House Window Replacement

Our clients in the Woodmont section of Milford, CT had single-pane windows with frame rot and cracked glass throughout their home. We replaced all their windows with energy-efficient Andersen® units that lowered energy bills and made their living space more comfortable.

The Issues (before pics)

Our Milford, CT clients' home was cold and drafty in the winter, and had difficulty staying cool in the summer. No doubt it was due in part to the old, wooden, single-pane windows throughout their home. A number of the window frames were rotting on the exterior, and a few even had cracked glass.

The Solutions (after pics)

We measured and ordered standard-sized Andersen® window units that closely matched the old windows' dimensions, while meeting all building code requirements for energy efficiency and egress. This provided a substantial savings to our clients by avoiding custom-built window costs for an exact size match. We carefully removed the surrounding cedar siding and backer-board, replaced each window, and matched the siding and paint color perfectly. A few minor drywall repairs were made on the inside and were covered by the new trim. Moving forward, our Milford, CT clients enjoyed a warmer, more comfortable home while saving big on project costs and energy bills.
